How To Sell Drugs Online (Fast) is a German comedy – drama TV Show which premiered in Netflix. This show was my another attempt at improving my German a bit more, it didn’t work really but I really liked the show. It is about Moritz (Maximilian Mundt) trying to impress his ex-girlfriend Lisa (Anna Lena Klenke) by buying her drugs because he thinks that her new boyfriend does them with her. He then faced some problems relating to the drug dealer and it created a very chaotic situation for him. At the end of the second season (it was renewed for a third one); Moritz, his computer geek best friend Lenny (Danilo Kamperidis), and Lisa’s now ex-boyfriend Dan (Damian Hardung) were running multi-million dollar drug dealing business through an unhackable, untraceable internet shop with their drug coming exclusively from Netherlands.
Before talking about the content of the show, I really appreciated the fact that Lenny was disabled and using wheelchair. I don’t know if the actor is really disabled but to see a main character being disabled is really good. Inclusiveness is important, I’m glad they wrote such a character. Moving into the content, I really liked the show. I didn’t like the drug part of course but it was fun. It was fun to watch them (Moritz, Lenny, Dan) invest in a business, getting threatened by the Dutch drug dealers, doing an underground drug-business without leaving any trace in a small town while trying to maintain healthy relationships with their families and friends. Plus, I really liked the trio that formed. I wouldn’t imagine that Moritz was going to be business partners with his ex-girlfriend’s ex-boyfriend, but I guess when money is at stake none of that matters.
I wish to write more about this but it has been more than 2 months since I watched this show and I wish I wrote this review earlier. I realized I forgot a lot of things, I should’ve written it when I first finished it. Lesson learned 🙂
